MAIN LODGE
Our main lodge is located just across the river from where your vehicle is parked which is always in full view from your cabin. With a rustic new look and stylish wood furnishings, we promise you a very comfortable vacation.

Cottages on Groundhog Lake

At the Main Lodge, we have five cabins available to accommodate your vacationing needs. Varying in size, we can facilitate individual parties of two, four, six or nine. Each cabin is fully equipped with electricity, running hot and cold water, fridge & stove(electric or propane), three piece bath, microwave, coffeemaker, all cooking utensils & dishes, table/chairs, single box spring & mattress, linens and blankets but please remember to bring your own bath towels. Overlooking the water, there is also a deck on the front of each cabin complimented with a propane bbq and chairs. Without public access, the people you meet during arrival on Saturday undoubtedly will become your "fishing or hunting" conversation buddies for the week, talking and comparing stories of the "Big One" that was caught......or.........got away!

You may waken early to the alarm clock provided by the distinct sound of the Northern Loon calling, informing you that another great day of your vacation is about to commence. During the day, it is not unusal to capture numerous sightings of the Bald Eagle either gliding free above the tree tops, just over the water or perched high up in a treetop. The Great Blue Heron, a variety of Ducks, and perhaps an unexpected glimpse of the White Moose are definitely good reasons not to forget that camera.

LODGE

Meals are served family style in our dining room with plenty of good wholesome homecooking. Our cabins are clean and convenient. They are fully equipped for housekeeping, if you wish to do your own cooking.

Our Boats are 14 and 16 foot aluminum, equipped with 9.9 Yamahas, we also have some Johnsons. Boats are supplied with padded swivel seats.

A screened in fish cleaning house, with freezer is available.

Day trips are also available. Guides on Request

HOW TO GET TO OUR CAMP
West from Timmins or East from Chapleau via Hwy 101 to Horwood Lake Rd
follow our signs to the landing....We will meet you there.
Flights to Timmins are available and pick up from Timmins can be arranged with us.
